Preamble:
The secondary teacher education programe, commonly known as B.Ed. is meant for preparing teacher's for secondary/senior secondary school.
Intake Capacity:
A unit of 100 students each year.
Duration:
One academic year.
Teaching subject:
Optional Subject:-
English, Hindi, Social Studies, History, Civics, Economics, Home Science, & Geography.
Special Paper:-
Guidance & counseling, Measurement and Evaluation, Enviornment education.
Eligibility:
Candidate with at least 45% marks in the Bachelor/Master's degree with atleast two school subject at the graduation level are eligible for admission. SC/ST candidates with at least 40% and OBC candidate at least 42% marks as per the policy of the govt. of Rajasthan and N.C.T.E
Admission Procedure:
Admission procedure is on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance examination (P.T.E.T.) conducted by the M.D.S. University Ajmer as per the policy of the Govt. of Rajasthan.
Curriculum Transaction:
- Every teacher trainee shall be required at least 150 teaching days in the year exclusive of period of admission to examination .
- Every teacher trainee shall be required to undergo internship in teaching (Including practice teaching and skill development ) for at least 30 days in nearby secondary/senior secondary school .
